Biography
I am a self taught artist and have been painting and drawing since my childhood. After finishing college, I worked as an apprentice in a printing company and qualified myself from Watford College of Printing, London. Thereafter I worked in the printing and packaging industry, in Asia and the Middle East.
I was drawn back to art while I was studying for my MBA at Newcastle Business School, Newcastle in 2005.
I have a particular passion for painting elephants and other wildlife merely to illustrate and create the atmosphere and feel of wildlife in its natural habitat. I have sold my collection to private collectors as far as Australia and other areas of South East Asia. I work mainly with oils and acrylics.
From painting wild life I moved on to painting cityscapes, as I love to go to the West End especially at dusk and to sketch and photograph the busy streets and buildings. I did a series of paintings titled “Vibrant London”
After doing intense research, I developed my own style by creating a variety of impressions to express movement and the illusion of depth that layering of paint can produce, allowing me the freedom to express inner thoughts and emotions rather than creating a simple representation of the real world.
